Ruth Ann Bassett , 70, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Ruth was a member of VFW Post 857 and American Legion Post 82. She enjoyed crafts and loved her dog Molly. Surviving are her ; daughters, Laurie Gremore of White Pigeon, MI, and Michele Norris of Fredericksburg, VA. mother, Dorothy Wiegman of Fort Wayne, step son, Jimmy (Monica) Bassett of Fort Wayne, IN, sister, Helen (Michael) Baugh of Roanoke, IN, brother, Bill (Cheryl) Wiegman of Fort Wayne, grandchildren, Denise, Alyssa, Nicole, Heather, Chris, Danielle, Donavon, Morgan, Madison, Ashley and Bradley. great grandchildren, Brayden, Tristan, William and Jaylynn . Ruth was preceded in death by father, Harold Wiegman, sister, Anita Boedeker, grandson, Jeremy and great granddaughter, Rylee. Funeral Service is Thursday, 11:00 am, January 26, 2012 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2012 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
