Ruth Freeman Caffery Cox Funeral Home Delhi Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth F. Caffery, 91, of Monroe will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Chapel Mausoleum of Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA with Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 1PM Monday until time of service. Entombment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mrs. Caffery died Saturday at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was a former resident of Delhi and was a member of the Delhi United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Caffery; her parents, Evan J. Freeman Sr. and Mattie E. Neel Freeman and by two brothers, E. J. Freeman Jr. and Ernest E. Freeman. She is survived by five daughters, Ann Atteberry & husband Dave of Hattiesburg, MS, Judy Wilson & husband Charles of St. Francisville, LA, Susan Kirby & husband Charles of Canton, GA, Sandra Ozbolt & husband Jack of Kingwood, TX and Mary McVay & husband Lanny of Monroe, LA; nineteen grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren. The family wishes to express a deep appreciation to three special care givers who took such excellent care of their mother during her illnesses over the past few years, Gracie, Elois and Dot.
