Mrs. Ruth I. Moore of Liberty, Missouri, passed away November 24, 2011 in Cameron, Missouri. She was born in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, to Cliff and Belle Story Iott. Ruth worked to help build houses for those less fortunate in the Habitat for Humanity program. She was a regular walker in the fund raiser "World Hunger". She loved the sports scene and was a regular at attending the games. She wanted to be there to root for the youth that were a part of her community and church life. She was a member of the Liberty Christian Church and she made it a point to know the youth in her church who were graduating each year and recognized each one with a gift. She knit hundreds of caps for distribution to those who needed the warmth in the winter. Ruth was a supportive person, whether it was sports, music, recovery from illness, or a job to be done, she was there with her presence, her labors, and her encouragement. Ruth is survived by a grandson Chris Butler, granddaughter Kelly Butler, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
