Ruth Lucille Young of Morristown entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a short illness . She was 79. Born in Henderson NC on October 5, 1931 to the union of the late Walter Lee and Margie (Jiggets) Harris. She worked for Morris View Nursing home for ten years, but was a housewife for most her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years and was a faithful member of the Golden Years Ministry, the Hospitality Ministry and she served at the Community Soup Kitchen. Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband, John F. Young Sr. in 1962, her special friend, Eugene Brown in 2003, and her brother, Lawrence Lee Harris in 2007. She is survived by four daughters, Marion Sally (Kenneth), Barbara Reid, Tawanda Young, and Theresa Johnson (Kevin), all of Morristown, , three sons, Randolph young (Dorothy), John F. Young Jr. (Patricia) of East Orange, and Rev. Ronald Young, Pastor (Laverne) of Edison, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
