Ruth was always "Patty's mom" to me, and she was always kind and good-natured with me even when I was being a pain. "Go home, John." she would say in that quiet gentle way she had, "Go home now."

When I think of sweet Ruth, my heart glows with memories of kindness, gentleness, lots of smiles and laughter; I treasure and hold dear every second spent in her company and I am a better person for having known her. All my love and prayers~~ Marie

Visits with Aunt Ruth are memorable, even though they're few and far apart. I hold fast the good feelings generated from plenty of joking and laughter from those joyous times growing up when Ruth and her two brothers, Roly and Bud (Roy-my dad) got together with our families. The visits I've shared with Ruth as an adult were fun and also comforting reminders of my dad, as her kindness and humor often reminded me of him. Those few but precious times with Ruth will be missed!

I carry much love in my heart for Ruth, who was always kind and loving to me as a child. I regret that I didn't have the chance to know her more in my adulthood. I'm sure she would have told me some amazing stories and we would have shared some wonderful laughs. I'm sending my love and warm thoughts to you, Patty, Bobby, and Robby!

I have very fond memories of my Aunt Ruth, a sister of my father Roy Prichard Jones. We spent several trips from my home near Pittsburgh, PA to West Haven, where my dad was from, to visit Aunt Ruth. I remember many fond memories, including the neighborhood, the house on 3rd St., and the back yard where we played. But most of all I remember my Aunt Ruth as a loving and giving person, a wonderful auntie who I will always remember.

I will always remember Ruth very fondly. I remember eagerly awaiting her arrival when she would come for visits when I was just a little girl. Her kindness, and her sense of humor are the things I will always remember most about her. She was truly a wonderful woman, that I will always count as one that I was very lucky to have known. All of my love goes out to my sister Patty, my brother Bob, and nephew Robby. You are in my thoughts.

When she would come to visit my home she and dad would retell old stories, always with hearty laughter. I'll always remember her sense of humor, always poking fun at herself, but never anyone else.
