Well, momma... we are in the house... it's been difficult, but I've had the support of the family, so I know i'll be fine. I had a rough week last week... crying a lot... thinking about how you and feeling guilty that I've seemed to prosper simply because of your death... I know you wanted us to have the house... You said so yourself. It actually gave you peace. I'm hoping someday I'll feel that same peace.

I wish you were here to talk to... I need you momma...

So true! I took it for granted that my mom would always be there... now that she isnt, I feel lost... I knew how special she was... and she knew how much I loved her till the very end... I just never thought in a million years I would have to go on without her...

I just never thought in a million years I would have to go on without her... was too soon. What will I do without her??? I knew she was dying... for months I knew it would come... just not so soon.... came so soon. TOO damn soon.

The Lord was merciful to her... She didnt have to suffer for months.. years... She was strong and brave till the very end. I could use some of that strength right now... I spend every evening in her house going through her things... Last night I ran into the papers that dealt with her last few weeks of illness. Questions and symptons she had written to ask the doctor. She was in such pain and felt humiliated that she couldnt care for herself... yet she wanted to live.

She wanted to see her granddaughter graduate. She never got to see her great grandchildren... or see her son's children... it was too early. Too soon for her to go...

Oh momma.... I feel so lost and empty... I put on a brave face everyday and go to work... and try to go through her things every night like they are just 'things'... but later on in the evening, when I'm exhausted... I go to peices... alone...

I feel like she is looking down at me asking me not to cry for her.... she didnt want to cause us any sadness... that was so hard for her to see us upset and know she was the cause... I'm hoping a day will come soon when I can think of her and memories and not feel so cheated and empty and lonley.... Just joy and happy times... someday... just not today....

You always told me to do what I feel is right... even in the hospital with your last breaths, you left EVERYTHING to my disgretion... even whether you lived or died on a machine. You said you hated to burden me with everything... the burden of your illness... the grief of your death... carrying on with your business... the decisions that would have to me be made... taking care of your arrangments... taking care of Jason... All you could say was you were sorry... Sorry to burden me and hurt all of us with what was happeneing.... and actually it is ME who should be sorry. Sorry I didnt make your life better... sorry I didnt spend more time with you... sorry I was so selfish and couldnt see past my daily struggles to see what struggles you faced and listened without judgement or comments... sorry we all waited until you were dying to make a fuss over the wonderful woman you have always been. Please forgive me, Momma... My sweet, beautiful, strong, kind, and loving Momma... I'm so sorry... always thinking of everyone else and putting everyone else's needs before your own. You deserved so much better and I'm sorry... so sorry..... I love you, Momma... I love you.....

She showed me what faith is......

The sweetest person ever to walk the eatrh, and I'am honored to have had her as my sister, and my friend. Her memory will live on in all who knew her. Her courage will be an inspiration to all the women in our family, she never complained and always was there with support and love for us. Even during her illness she continued to give back. She was and will always be remembered as caring and loving.......I will always miss you Reina, I will always love you and i will never forget you.

Dearest Reina, I am so glad that I was able to be with you till the very end and I could tell you how much I love you. To let you know that you are the best friend to me. Your love for me was always there. I am blessed to have you as my sister. I miss you. I am thankful that you are with Jesus on his birthday. It's so hard to think that you are no longer

My wife Marcella and I are very sorry to hear of Ruth passing. We are all part of the Bulldog family. Ruth and I are from the class of 1967. My wife is from 1968. It's always sad hear of someone from your school passes on especially from the same class. We're going to miss you Ruth. Vaya con Dios my friend and classmate.

I remembered being very small and being very amazed that she had crocheted me a doll for Christmas. It was very special to me that she had spent all the time it must have taken in making it for me by hand. I will miss Auntie's cooking. I will miss Auntie's crafts. I miss Auntie!!! She
