Sadie Mae Jolley Warr passed away quietly on Sunday, January 23, 2011.
She was born on February 1, 1919, in Moroni, Utah to Daniel William and Anna Laura Teeples Jolley.
She married Rex Franklin Warr on June 4, 1937, and they were later sealed in the Manti Temple.
Sadie owned and operated her own Beauty Shop out of her home for many years in Payson, Utah. She was kind, compassionate and enjoyable to be with. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a very caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved being around people, especially her family. Her favorite activity was her annual family Christmas party. Her eyes lit up with delight each time one of her grandchildren or great-grandchildren sat on Santa's lap. Her genuine care for others was manifested frequently as she did things she loved--particularly as she volunteered at the Peteetneet Academy in Payson and especially as she volunteered as a Pink Lady at Mountain View Hospital. She loved to sew, knit and crochet, and she found joy in bestowing her talents on many grateful recipients. She had a beautiful yard, and enjoyed the many hours she spent taking care of it. She especially enjoyed gardening and she loved being able to give fresh fruits and vegetables to her family, neighbors, and friends. She was also an avid sports fan. She particularly loved to watch the Jazz and BYU play. Sadie was active in the LDS Church, serving in many different capacities throughout her life.
She is survived by two sons, Frank (Jeanne) Warr, West Jordan, Lynn (Debi) Warr, Highland; daughter, Becky (Lynn) Muhlestein, Kaysville; daughter-in-law Peggy Warr, Ogden; brother Gideon (Arcola) Jolley, Roy. 20 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex, son Ronald, parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. View 4th Ward, 681 E. 500 N., Payson, Utah. Friends and family may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 S. 100 W., Payson on Thursday, January 27, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday morning at the Mt. View 4th Ward from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Payson City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Mom’s many caring friends who loved her and helped her as she lived in her home.
