Samuel Cerveny, 95, of Palm City, died November 5, 2011 at Martin Nursing and Restorative Care in Stuart. He was born in Yugoslavia and came to the United States in the 1920's. He had been a resident of the Treasure Coast for 21 years, having moved from West Bloomfield, MI. He had worked 40 years as an assembler for Ford Motor Company before retirement. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Dussey of Palm City and sisters, Betty Bertka of Englewood, FL., and Ann Hayes of Windsor, Ontario.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude in 2007.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
