MILLERSBURG- Samuel F. Shepley, age 78, of 300 Miller Road passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Millersburg, PA, the son of the late Ralph Shepley, Sr. and Grace Silks Shepley. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Sam was retired from Roadway Express. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rife, Teamster Retirees #776, Steever R. Day VFW Post #5507. Survivors include his wife Mildred Scheib Shepley, sons Vincent and wife Evelyn of Millersburg, Timothy and wife Beth of Sycamore, IL, James and wife Amy of Winchester, VA, a brother Paul and wife Nancy, a sister Jane "Dolly" King both of Millersburg, grandchildren Wesley, Ethan, Elijah, Andrew, Abigail, Margaret, Alexander, Thomas, Christopher and Charles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters Beatrice and Dorothy and two brothers Ralph, Jr. and Robert. There will be a viewing on Saturday, August 6 from 10-11 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Rife. Funeral Services will begin at at 11:00 am with Rev. Elizabeth George officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the church cemetery. Donations can be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. of S.
