Samuel C. (Sam) Johnson, age 77, of 683 Windmill Drive, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 5:58 a.m., on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sam was born on September 28, 1933, in North Liberty, Indiana, to Samuel Milton and Leota (Guyse) Johnson. On July 13, 1957, Sam married the former Alice Ottow in Donaldson, Indiana. Together they raised their three children. Sam was retired from roadway construction and concrete work. He enjoyed going bowling and going fishing. Sam has been a resident of the Marshall County Area all of his life. He served his country in the United States Army, from December of 1955 to December of 1957. Sam is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Alice Johnson of Plymouth; their daughter, Renea (Terry) Beldon of Plymouth; their sons, Robbin Johnson and Todd Johnson both of Culver; his sisters, Sharon (Paul) Hurford of Donaldson, Indiana, and Anna Marie Powell of Plymouth; his brothers, Jim (Macel) Johnson, Dean Johnson, and Robert Johnson all of Florida; three grandchildren, Aaron Beldon, Christopher Beldon, and Bryan Beldon; and two great-grandchildren, Keelin Beldon and Kenyan Beldon. Sam was preceded in death by his brothers; Ted and Herbert; and his sister, Rose Geisler.
