Age 62, a resident of Albuquerque since 1966, died November 25th, 2011. He is survived by his father, Colonel (Ret) Ralph M. Rogers and his mother, Stella F. Rogers. He is also survived by 4 brothers: Steve Rogers, Chris Rogers, and Tim Rogers, all of Albuquerque, Jeff Rogers of California, and many nieces and nephews. Sam spent many years in the service, first in the Navy, and then in the Army. After that, he worked for the Department of Energy in Albuquerque. A public viewing will be at French - University Chapel, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. A short service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Thursday, December 1, at 11:15 a.m.
