SANDRA KAY LUCAS

Sandra Kay Lucas, 62, of Sophia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 28, 2011.
Born April 18, 1949 at McAlpine, WV to the late Ralph and Vestal Farley Walters.
Sandra loved to play BINGO and spend time with her family; she was a bookkeeper for the BINGO at the Sophia Volunteer Fire Department and the Coal City Colts; and a member of the Crab Orchard Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Eller and Trina Walters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 43 years, Roy Lucas; two sons, Roy Lucas II "RD" and wife, Laura of Tampa, FL and Alvin Keith Lucas and wife, Erica of Pipestem; two granddaughters, Aspen Kay Lucas and Ava Kaitlyn Lucas; a brother, Kenny Bowles; two sisters, Gloria Estep of Sophia and Debbie Blankenship of Concord, VA; an abundance of nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
Services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Tom Anderson officiating.
Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
