Sandra Lee (Keranen) Westen, 71, died at her home on Friday, January 6, 2012 in Alton Bay, New Hampshire. She is survived by her husband of 52+ years, Charles Joseph Westen; son, Kim Charles Westen and his wife, Debra Westen; daughter, Tamara Lee Westen and her husband, Cedric Pereira. Also surviving are grandchildren, Nicole Westen and Patrik Westen; brothers, William Keranen and Thomas Keranen, and their families as well as cousins around the world. Spring burial will take place in the Park Cemetery in Marquette. A scholarship fund will be established in her name at Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan.
