Sandra Pierson Clark, age 86, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Gardens at Monroe, Monroe, NJ. Born in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY June 12, 1927, Sandra resided in New Egypt, NJ for 53 years before moving to the Clearbrook Retirement Community in Monroe Township, NJ in June, 2007. Sandra was a graduate of Washington Irving High School in Tarrytown, NY and Scudder Jr. College in New York City. She was previously employed by the Foundation for Economic Education in Irvington, NY. Sandra was the daughter of the late Alma B. and Harry Snape, who owned and operated Alma Snape's Flowers in Tarrytown, NY and the niece of Frank R. Pierson, noted horticulturist. She is predeceased by her husband, William A. Clark and her sister, Ruth Richards of Sanford, SC. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Deborah L. Campbell and husband, Robert of Hightstown; a loving son, William E. Clark of Lost Creek, WV; three grandchildren, Ashley Keith and husband, Gary of Clarksburg, WV, Kelsey Clark of Lost Creek, WV and David A. Campbell and wife, Nicole of Orlando, FL; two great-grandsons, Gavin and Sebastian Clark, twin great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Savannah Campbell and two nieces. A private burial and graveside service will be held at the family plot in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
