Married June 16, 1943 to the “love of her life,” William H. Atkin (deceased). She loved life, traveling and golf. She had many adventures with friends and her husband. She was a longtime member of Friends Unlimited and had the greatest times at the Kearns Senior Center. Loved music and especially dancing.

Preceded in death by her parents, Nephi Q. Neilson and Sarah Luella Howard; brothers, Russell and Quinton Neilson; sister, Illa Lether; two daughters, Rhonda Atkin and Dee Atkin Hart. Survived by sons, Brian W. (Margaret) Atkin, Korey R. (Linda) Atkin; son-in-law, Conrad “Jr.” Hart; two grandsons, Christopher W. (Jasmine) Atkin and Alexander R. Atkin; one great-grandson, Jaten W. Atkin.

A viewing will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary (4670 S. Highland Drive) followed by a graveside service at noon at the Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 S. Memory Lane (1990 E.).
