Sarah Anne Halbig, 19, a lifelong resident of Arnold, died December 18 in Annapolis. Sarah was born March 19, 1992 in Annapolis. She graduated from Broadneck High School in 2010 and was currently attending Anne Arundel Community College pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts. She was a big Ravens and NASCAR fan and loved cooking. Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martha and Howard Halbig and David Laster Sr. Sarah is survived by her brother, Christopher Halbig of Arnold; parents, Kathleen Halbig of Arnold and Charles Halbig of Waldorf; grandparents, Catherine Laster of Odenton and Thomas Pierce Jr. of Stevensville; and uncle, Thomas Pierce III of Elkridge. Vistation is 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 22 at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, where services will be held 11 a.m., Friday at the Taylor Chapel. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
