Sarah Lee Turner, 63, of St. Albans, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was born September 21, 1946 in Greenbrier County, a daughter of the late James Eugene and Mary Elizabeth Wiseman.
Sarah retired from Gino’s in St. Albans after 18 years of service. She was a member of the Nitro Moose for over 35 years and was active in the Women of the Moose. Sarah was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by loving children, David A. Turner, Jr., of Woodbridge, VA, Kathryn M. Spina and her husband Mauro Anthony IV, and Kimberly D. Henke and her husband David August, all of Cross Lanes, brother, Gene Wiseman, grandchildren, Marcus A. Spina, Elizabeth A. Spina, Sarah A. Spina, James D. Turner, Joshua A. Henke, Christopher A. Turner, and Olen H. Spina.
A Celebration of Sarah’s Life will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2010 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home with Pastor John Bodine officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.
A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sarah Lee Turner Memorial Fund, 5121 Hopewell Drive, Cross Lanes, WV 25313
