Scott Allen Blakely, 27, of Marquette, died unexpectedly, Wednesday morning, January 4, 2012 at his home. He was born August 8, 1984, in Manistique, MI, a son of Carl & Marcia Blakely. He was raised in Marquette and was a 2003 graduate of Marquette High School. Scott was employed most recently at Goodwill. His interests included jogging, BMX racing, climbing Sugarloaf Mountain and nature. He will be remembered by his family as an excellent son, loving father, awesome uncle. He was a kindhearted, fun loving, smart person with a contagious, wonderful sense of humor with beautiful eyes and known by them as "Scotty too Hottie". Scott is survived by his parents, Marcia Blakely of Marquette and Carl Blakely of Newberry; son, Dylan Matthew Oysti of Marquette; grandparents, Robert & Janice Taylor of Newberry and Donna Blakely of Newberry; siblings, Steve Taylor of Gladstone, Kristie Blakely of Ishpeming, Kara Turner of Marquette and Phillip Turner of Marquette; nieces and nephews, Mariah, Dalia, Adrianna, Ayden and Vincent. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home. Memories of Scott may be shared at www.canalefuneral.com
