Scott Andrew Morrison, 44, of Knotts Island, NC, passed away on March 3, 2013. Born in Teaneck, NJ, Scott was the Fire Chief for Knotts Island Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Tidewater Fire Photography Association. Scott is survived by his wife, Jessica Marie Morrison, a daughter, Kaitlyn D. Morrison, and a son, Sean D. Morrison, all of Knotts Island, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Eileen Parkman of Jordan, NJ; two brothers, Joseph P. Morrison, Jr. of Orlando, FL and Michael J. Morrison of Cresskill, NJ; his mother, Gwen D. Morrison of Toms River, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph P. Morrison, Sr. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Knotts Island Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Knotts Island Fire Department, 327 Knotts Island Rd., Knotts Island, NC, 27950.
