Scott B. Ruggles, 31, Fort Wayne died on Monday, May 28, 2012 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on August 28, 1980 to Mark and Debra Ruggles. Scott was a 1999 graduate of Homestead High School. He also attended St. John Lutheran School, Defiance, Ohio until 1990, then moving with his parents to Cass City, Michigan, he resided there and attended the local school until 1997. He was working toward a degree from Indiana Institute of Technology. He was employed as a dispatcher for Frontier Communications. He had a zest for life and love for friends. One of his favorite mottos to live by was, "Life is a journey, not a destination." He was always willing to do for and help others. Scott had many interests; fixing and repairing cars, motorcycles, playing pool and was a avid firearm collector. He will be sadly missed by his parents Mark and Deb of Fort Wayne, brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Carmen Ruggles, Fort Wayne, nieces Tori and Taylor Ruggles Fort Wayne, maternal grandmother, Marie Marcellus, Defiance, paternal grandmother Dolores Ruggles, Defiance and aunts, uncles, cousins, the family pet Sadie, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Hugh Marcellus and paternal grandfather Harold Ruggles. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at The Chapel 2505 West Hamilton Road, Fort Wayne on Thursday, May 31st at 11 a.m. with calling one hour prior. Pastor Rick Hawks officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons, Covington Knolls 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Burial service will be at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance Ohio at 3:00 p.m. Memorials can be made to The Chapel, for Disaster Relief
