Sean Paul Brainard, 28, of Rodgers Place, Portsmouth, VA, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. A native of Portsmouth, VA, Sean is survived by his parents, Pamela and William Brainard, Jr., two brothers, William F. Brainard III and Larry M. Brainard, and maternal grandmother, Mildred Juanita Jackson, all of Portsmouth, VA; paternal grandparents, Darlene and William Brainard of Massena, NY; and a niece, Alexandra Elise Brainard. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingfuneralhome.com.
