Inez Crain, 89, was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010. She was a native of Pound, VA. She has lived in Chesapeake for 51 years. She worked for the Chesapeake Public Schools. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her son, Leonard V. Short; her parents, Andrew and Gertrude Mullins; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by three daughters, Joan DePriest and Glenda Moseley of Chesapeake, VA and June Harris of Falls Church, VA; and one son, Larry Shortt of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters, Betty Rheinbolt of Mt. Carmel, TN and Theda Dingus of Zanesville, OH; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 524 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, VA.
