Serena C. Warrington, 72, of Morristown, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Serena was born in Sea View Farm, Antigua, West Indies and resided in Morristown for 44 years. She was previously employed by the Morris School District as a lunchroom aide and well known in the Morristown community through her work with Bethel A.M.E. church Morristown, Happy Workers Garden Club, Morristown Soup Kitchen, Junior Matrons of Morristown and various community organizations. She was predeceased by her parents, Percy Roberts and Claris Bowsen and her husband, Ronald D. Warrington. She is survived by her son, Anthony Roberts, three grandchildren, Calinda, Kyle and Lauren Roberts, three brothers; Winston and Leon Messiah, Ernest Williams (Collin), four sisters, Veron Johnson and her husband, Edmund Johnson, Jean Weston, Daphne Messiah, Bernadine Joseph and her husband, Conrad Joseph, two nieces, Lori Johnson-Brown and her husband, Evan Brown, and Tamesha Wakefield, two nephews Algi Samuels and Alderson Simon, Primrose Roberts, Rosemarie Todd and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
