Shannon D. Strawley, age 18 of Kennett Square, died Sunday April 2, 2006 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in West Chester, she was a daughter of Larry and Brenda Strawley of Kennett Square.

Shannon was a Junior at Unionville High School. She was known for her beautiful smile and was a social butterfly.

Upon graduation in 2007 Shannon was hoping to attend Coastal Carolina College in South Carolina. She also talked about becoming a veterinarian.

Shannon loved her pet cats, Otis, Bailey and Jasper. Other interests included luxury cars and various trucks. She was also very fond of children and appreciated the elderly in her life. Most of all, her time with friends and family was most important.

Survivors include in addition to her parents:

One sister: Brittany L. Strawley of Kennett Square.

Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

A funeral service will be held 12 Noon Thursday April 6, 2006 at the Episcopal Church of the Advent 401 N Union St. Kennett Square. Family and friends may call from 9AM to Noon before the service. Interment will be held privately. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Unionville Chadds Ford Community Scholarship Fund, 750 Unionville Rd. Kennett Square, PA 19348. Arrangements are being handled by the Kuzo and Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-444-4116) of Kennett Square.
