Sharon Belle Hon Martin, 76, of Russellville, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at her home. She was born December 11, 1935, on London Mountain, to Hollie Thomas Hon Sr. and Opal Lillian Martin Hon. She was a graduate of Russellville High School, had received her Associate Degree from Arkansas Polytechnic College and her Bachelor of Science Degree from Arkansas Tech University. She was formost a hommaker, and worked as a real estate broker, and was a former employee of Olson Real Estate. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and attended West Side Church of Christ and Gravel Hill Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William Wesley Martin.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and Michele Martin of Frisco, Texas, and Leslie Martin and Lance J. Martin, both of Russellville; a brother, Hollie Hon Jr. of Hector, a sister, LaDell Fields of Russellville; two grandchildren, Will Martin of Atkins, and Meredith Martin of Frisco, Texas; and a number of nephews and nieces.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Mr. Bill Roderick and Mr. Bruce Grice. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
