Sharon Delores Threatt was born on March 17, 1945 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, daughter of Sarah Marion Gallimore Roach and Victor Roach who both passed away, years after reuniting. She was raised in Westfield, New Jersey by her adopted parents, Alexander and Hannah Taylor. Sharon was employed as a Secretary for several New Jersey companies during her working life. She worked for American Hoechst in Murray Hill, John Hancock in Piscataway, Lockheed Martin in Watchung, Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson) in Raritan and she retired from Prudential Insurance Company in Piscataway. She was a member of the New Jersey Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Sharon Delores Threatt departed this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at her Elizabeth home at the age of 66. She was predeceased by a son, Donald A. Threatt; her parents, Sarah Gallimore Roach and Victor Roach; adopted parents, Alexander and Hannah Taylor; her stepfather, Franklin Kinsman; 2 brothers, Victor Roach and Marlon Roach (Tanya) of South Carolina and her ex-husband, Donald Threatt. She leaves to cherish fond memories, three daughters, Shelly Threatt of Elizabeth, NJ, Donna Chapman (Cedric) of Florence, NJ and Sylvia Threatt of North Plainfield, NJ; one son, Taj Dorsey of Burlington, NJ; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters and a brother, Penelope Lucas (Jason) and Francine Kinsman, Salah Shakoor all of Boston, MA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
