Sharon L. Snyder, 60, of Mt. Lake, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at her home with her loving family at her side. Born on June 11, 1951 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Charlotte L. Perrine Mueller. Mrs. Snyder was a driver coordinator for Midatlantic Express Trucking Company, Hackettstown, NJ for over 15 years. Sharon had enjoyed crocheting, reading and visits to the Finger Lake Region of New York. She gave her time as a volunteer as a den mother for the Cub Scouts, a troop leader for the Brownies, Hackettstown Band Booster, and Meals on Wheels. Sharon had also been a home health aide. She also enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She was fond of animals, especially her cat, Queenie and her dog, Mac. Her true passion was helping others. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and "me ma" and always gave of herself putting others first before herself. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, David Snyder; three children, Jason, Brenton and Rachelle; four grandchildren, Logan Kristopher Bell, Alexis Dawn Snyder, Ayden and Emma Kowalick; two sisters, Patricia M. Wilson and Michele L. Mueller; three brothers, Joseph A., Jeffrey A. and Matthew J. Mueller; many nieces and nephews. Sharon was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Ann Smith. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860 or the charity of one's choice. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Sharon Snyder. You are invited to add a Tribute in her memory.
