Sharon Lee Jager, 61, of Benton Harbor, passed away January 15, 2012 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph with Rev. Gordon Barry officiating. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Sharon was born on November 1, 1950 in Highland Park, Michigan to John and Eleanor (Reschke) Jager. She loved to garden and feed the birds. Sharon also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Stacey Stephens of St. Joseph; grandchildren Maddie and Sam Stephens; best friend Anita Wandel of Benton Harbor; aunt Erna Walz of Sandy, Utah; numerous cousins; and her two beloved pets Juno and Oreo.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
