Weast, Sharon, Virginia, age 75, of Dallas, Texas passed away on January 21, 2012 at Carrollton, TX. She was born on 5/31/1936 in San Diego, California to her parents, Leonard H. Brown and Flora F. Forward. Sharon was the oldest of 2. She married twice and had 4 children. She was retired from Gospel for Asia. She enjoyed Bible study, walking, and spending time with family and friends.Sharon will be remembered by her children: Cheryl Kim Forward-Brown of Grapevine, TX, Wendy Gray of Carrollton, TX, Donald Shane Weast and his wife Sheri of Oviedo, FL. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas J. Havens, her grandson Matthew Masten, and her sister Carolyn Olsen. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Metrocrest Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Metrocrest Funeral Home 1810 North Perry Road, Carrollton, TX. 75006.
