Shawn Deneilo Addison
He was educated in the public schools of Darlington County and graduated from Hartsville High School in 1997. He also attended Allen University. As a child, he sang with the Pentecostal Assembly Angels and the Mt. Beulah Youth and Young Adults. He also served on the Usher Board. He played several sports in high school and received many awards. He later served two years in the United States Air Force. After his stint in the military, he became employed with Bartlette Nuclear as a Nuclear Contractor.
Those left to cherish and honor the memory and legacy of Shawn Deneilo Addison include his son, Zaiden Addison of Kingstree, SC; his loving mother, Ann Addison of the home; his fiancée, Chaun Bryant Addison of the home; three brothers, Stafford Bacote and NaQuan Addison both of Hartsville, SC and Charles (Octavia) Addison of Florence, SC; a sister, Loraine (Brent) Germaine of Union, NJ; three nephews, Deldrick Addison, Marquette Addison, Tyrin Addison all of Hartsville, SC; his grandmothers, Edna Addison and Matilda Brailey both of Hartsville, SC; four aunts, Rosa (George) Scott of Jersey City, NJ, Hazel (Rufus) Newman of Queen, NY, Alice Jackson of Hartsville, SC, Louise (Charles) Sutton of Hartsville, SC; five uncles, Billy (Antoinette) Addison of Florence, SC, Jimmy (Sarah) Addison of Hilton Head, SC, Rev. Willie Bacote of Florence, SC, Michael (Doris) Addison and James Addison both of Hartsville, SC; five dear friends, Jerrode McKnight of Kingstree, SC, Herman Montague, Arabb Thompson, Paul Bacote, and Frederick Dix all of Hartsville, SC; five god children, Najae Collins and Simone Burgess both of Kingstree, SC, Tyler Montague-Wanzer, JaiShon Mack, and Sh’Kirra Hough all of Hartsville, SC; three godmothers, Matie Benjamin, Evelyn McCollough and Yvonne Montague all of Hartsville, SC and a host of other relatives and very dear friends.
