Sherrie Ann Stam

Sherrie Ann Stam, 54, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father January 11, 2011. Sherrie was born May 23, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter Christiaan Stam Jr. and Bonnie June Larson Stam, the third of five children. She graduated from Granite High School. She is preceeded in death by Mickey, her partner of ten years.
Sherrie enjoyed crocheting and had a beautiful patience to teach others. She loved her cats and when she laughed with her family, it was contagious and filled the room.
Sherrie is survived by her son, Travis Cowley, and his wife Lulu of Woodbridge, Virginia. She leaves behind her parents, brothers Chris and Clint (Ranee) Stam, and sisters Shauna (Mike) Stoker and Adrienne (Mark) Thompson.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 am on Mon, Jan 17 at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E 7800 S. Viewing Sun, Jan 16, 6 to 8 pm and one hour before services.
