Sherrie H. Hardy, a sweet and fun-spirited wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, was born on May 16, 1941. She was blessed with a contagious smile, laughter, kindness and a strong love that she shared with us until she peacefully passed away with loved ones by her side on December 13, 2010.

Mom is survived by children Kelly (Julie) Hardy, Greg Hardy, sister Carol (Jay) Roberts and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband Kenneth Brent Hardy, father George E. Hylton, mother Retta T. Hylton, brother George Edward, Jr., uncle Ralph Hylton, and granddaughter Bliss.

As a family we express our thanks for the love and concern that have been shown for our mother.

Remember Me: Loved life, loved to travel and see the world, loved hard work, loved her friends and had many…and most of all, Mom’s family was her passion and they meant the world to her.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Butler 12th Ward, 2700 East 7000 South, with the viewing from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm. Friends may visit with the family Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South on December 19, 2010. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery.
