Shirlene Andrus

I have come to know both of them and I always enjoyed my visits which were usually in their home. I didn't get to know Gary as much as Shirlene, but what I did know, Shirlene was a giving, loving, person and just a joy to be around and can only imagine Gary had the same positive attributes. I am

I was Shirlene and Garys insurance agent for many years. Before that Shirlene was the secretary at my high school. I have come to know both of them and I always enjoyed my visits which were usually in their home. I didn't get to know Gary as much as Shirlene, but what I did know, Shirlene was a giving, loving, person and just a joy to be around and can only imagine Gary had the same positive attributes. I am sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and they will be missed by us here.

Shirlene and the family have been friends to our family since some of my earliest memories. Way too many memories to list. Shirlene was over at the farm it seemed almost on a daily basis, bringing along Tony most of the time. Haying the fields behind your house, wrecking your 3 wheelers, playing Atari, staring in awe at the bright red corvette always parked there when Dan was on the slope, drinking Pepsi One (never did like that stuff, but

Shirlene was over at the farm it seemed almost on a daily basis, bringing along Tony most of the time. Haying the fields behind your house, wrecking your 3 wheelers, playing Atari, staring in awe at the bright red corvette always parked there when Dan was on the slope, drinking Pepsi One (never did like that stuff, but we didn't get soda at home much), and learning that you weren't supposed to swallow gum. Most of my memories come from my youth but even looking at the more recent years Shirlene always had a smile for me and my girls whenever I would see her.

Mom was one the greatest influence in our lives, she was patient and kind with never a harsh word to say about anyone. Her love for the lord was an inspiration to us all. She will be so missed, she was always there when we needed advice or just to talk things through, you could always hear the love in her voice, In our lives we do not believe we will ever find a more compasionate person. Her love will never be forgotten.

Shirlene was my dearest friend, one of the kindest, non complaining women that I know. She was my rock. She went to work for me when she retired from the school. We had some good times together and she had a way of keeping me calm and talking me through some stressful transactions.

We had many family get togethers because of our family ties. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. She has 3 wonderfull sons who will carry out her legacy. Love to the family,
