Shirlene Mann Andrus

Shirlene was born in Salt Lake City on June 12, 1936 to Newell and Helen Mann. She died on August 18, 2010. She grew up in Salt Lake City and Holladay, Utah and graduated from Olympus High School in 1954. On February 4, 1955, she married Gary Andrus. In 1967 the family moved to Alaska, where they have resided since that time.

Shirlene has been active in the LDS Church and has held many callings. She was a secretary and retired after years as a school secretary at Soldotna High School in Soldotna, Alaska.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary Andrus; her sons, Michael (Marquetta), Dan (Sylvia) and Tony (Leigh); eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister Roselyn Stratton and brother N. Clynn Mann (Marilyn).

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 South Memory Lane.
