SHIRLEY CARMAN 72 of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday March 12, 2009 at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
She was born May 11, 1936 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn Tice Rejonis.
Shirley was a former nurse's aide at the Peterson Hospital in Wheeling and a Methodist by faith. She graduated from Bellaire High School, class of 1954.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Carman on May 17, 1987.
Surviving are three children, Randy Wheeler of Bellaire, Rick (Dee) Carman of Sardis and Stacey Yoka (Jim Twarog) of Shadyside, two brothers, Frank Rejonis of Shadyside and Fred Rejonis of Powhatan Point and one sister, Doris Goff of Shadyside. Also four grandchildren, Alexis Yoka and Lindsay Yoka, Gunnar Carman and Brooke Carman.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm where services will be held on Saturday at 2 pm with Pastor Donald J. Cordery officiating. Interment in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
