Shirley Ann Cloude, age 70, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was born May 7, 1941, in Maywood, California, to the late Raymond and Dorothy Cloude. While living in Hawaii, Shirley worked at Pearl Harbor and retired from there after many years of service. She was an accomplished artist, specializing in oil painting. A loving mother, sister and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Steven Martin. Survivors include her daughter, Caren Root (Michael) of Humble, TX; son, Conrad F. Mitchell, Jr. (Tona) of Alexander, AR; sister, Loretta Clemens (Melvin) of Corona, CA; and grandchildren, Jason Meek and Thomas Meek both of Humble, TX, Alex Mitchell and Zachary Mitchell both of Mabelvale, AR, and Kevin Nordengren and Jake Nordengren both of Alexander, AR.

Funeral services will be private.
