Shirley Ann Sams-Jackson the daughter of Bernice Betts-Sams and Nathaniel Sams, Sr., passed away after a sudden illness on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Sacred Journey Hospice in Mc Donoug, Georgia. She was born on April 9, 1956 in Paterson, NJ. Shirley accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Grace Chapel Baptist Church in Paterson, NJ. She always reminded her siblings that she was the oldest-even though she was the smallest in stature of them all. Preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Sams, Sr., Husband, Lee "Edward" Jackson and her step-father, Marion C. Brown. Shirley leaves to cherish her precious memories a wonderful son, Tyrique Nathaniel Hendrick, her mother, Bernice Brown-Sams of Morrow, GA as well as paternal grandmother, Lucy Wimberly of Paterson, NJ.
