FREE OBITUARY FOR SHIRLEY A. WALTER
Shirley Ann Walter, 81, of Stuart, FL, died July 31, 2011at the Treasure Coast Hospice Hay-Madeira House, Stuart.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was a resident of Stuart for 19 years coming from St. Mary’s County, Maryland.

Prior to retirement she was a waitress. She was a past president of American Legion Post 255 Auxiliary, St. Mary’s County, Maryland.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Homer H. Walter of Stuart, sons, Bruce A. Walter of Stuart and David M. Walter of California, Maryland; daughters, Cynthia A. Bowen of Stuart and Pamela A. Walter of Hobe Sound; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard A. Koury Jr. and a sister Marion Marino.

Service will be private. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Young and Prill Chapel, Stuart.
