Shirley Irene Terry, 88, passed away January 27, 2012, in her home. She was born in Maumee, Ohio and was the co-owner of Terry's Delicatessen and was a registered nurse. She was a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, past president of Suburban Womens Club and a member of the Town and Gown Club. She sang with the Beach Tones and volunteered in the Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Terry, and is survived by her daughter, Patricia J. Terry of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Russell Stephen Terry of Malvern, PA; sister, Jean Wareing of Lufkin, TX; three grandchildren, Stephanie Terry of Honeybrooke, PA, Robert Terry and wife Rachel of Leland, NC, and Devon Terry of Downingtown, PA; three great-grandchildren, Elle Jean, Isabella Reese and Samuel Russell. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert S. Terry and Kenneth A. Terry. A memorial service will be held at Bayside Presbyterian Church Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. David Rollins and Rev. James Hamilton officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Elle's Smile c/o Ellessmile.com(click on donations).
