Shirley J. Kvederas, 92, of Hobe Sound, Florida, died June 9, 2011 at her home. Born in New York, New York she lived in Hobe Sound for 8 year, coming from Colchester, Connecticut. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Colonel Robert A. Kvederas of Colchester; a daughter Carol A. Gallagher-Lopinto of Hobe Sound; seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Kvederas in 1990; a sister Dorothy Nielsen and a granddaughter, Catherine Kvederas. Most important to her was her family and her dog. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. Services will be private at a later date.
