Even tho we lived so far from each other Shirley and I kept in touch by phone and hilarious greeting cards. She was really one of the "great ol' girls" and I loved her dearly. Shirley would give you the shirt off her back "if you needed it" or even if you just wanted it! She was always doing something for someone -- all those nieces and nephews -- or whomever! She loved the whole big family -- the Loves,

Shirl was not only my best friend, she was a tremendous woman. Her love for everyone was amazing. I don't believe shirl and I ever had a cross word. Shirl was always there for me when I needed her willing to make a difference. I will always remember her and love her. She was more like my Mom than just a friend. Shirley Love will be missed.
