MRS. SHIRLEY MAE PRUDHOMME OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA Cox Funeral Home Oak Grove, Louisiana OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Mae Prudhomme, age 84, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2PM on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Goodwill Church of God in Goodwill, Louisiana. Reverend Jason Strong will be officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Mrs. Prudhomme passed from this life on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Prudhomme; daughter, Joyce Ann Blackwell; her parents, George Worster and Ida Louise Pheifer Worster. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sheila Grimes of South Houston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Vicki Grimes of Victoria, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Cathy Prudhomme of George West, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Lowell Wise of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Charles Worster; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Richie Strong, Richard Strong, J. C. Strong, James Eubanks, Doug Strong, and Seth Strong. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 29th between the hours of 5 to 8PM at Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. www.coxfuneral.com
