Shirley Yvonne nee Meade Rineer, age 65, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away at home with her husband by her side on Sunday, December 11, 2011. Shirley is survived by her husband of 33 years, Doug Rineer; and sister, Marsha (Danny) Kelley. She had a great love of gospel music and was a former member of The Chapel Keys Gospel Singing Group for many years. Shirley was a very strong Christian. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Dayton, OH. A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held Friday, December 30, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Christian Chapel AG Church, 2751 Salem Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23456. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Christian Chapel Compassion Ministry, 2751 Salem Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. (Please not "Rineer Memorial" in memo line.)
