Ms. Shuntae Mashun Grant

Shuntae Mashun Grant began her race in Dallas, Texas on November 23, 1977, to the parents of Charlie J. Edmun Jr., and Gloria Grant. Shuntae last attended James Madison High School in 1995. As a young person she accepted the Lord as her savior and attended Zion Chapel Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder John Richardson, where she participated in the youth department and sang in the youth choir.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Gloria Grant; two grandmothers, Margaret Grant and Frances Drake. She leaves to bereave one son, Christian Grant; two special aunts, LaShawn Greer and Olivia Grant; father, Charlie Edmun, Jr.; six sister; two brothers; and a host other relatives and friends.

Shuntae's beautiful spirit and vibrant personality was shown everywhere she made her presence known. She loved her family and she always desired to have the best for her son Christian. She was called to rest on December 26, 2011.
