Simeon G. Simeonidis, 90, of Stuart, died July 6, 2011 at Salerno Bay Manor in Stuart. Simeon had been a resident of Stuart for 3 ½ years, having moved from Bradenton. He had been a tailor before retirement. He was a member of Saint John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox Church of Martin County in Hobe Sound.
He is survived by his son, Peter Symeonidis of Stuart; brothers and sisters in Greece, and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vasiliki “Bessie” Simeonidis.
Visitation: 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm, July _10_, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Young & Prill Chapel in Stuart.
Funeral Service: 1:00pm, July 11, 2011 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes – Young & Prill Chapel in Stuart, with Rev. Fr. Peter C. Kyriakos, pastor of St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox Church of Martin County, officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, FL.
