Sister M. Henrica Devine

Sept. 2, 1926 - April 12, 2012 NOTRE DAME - Sister M. Henrica (Margaret Lorraine) Devine, CSC, was born in Chicago, IL, to the late John Henry and Margaret Jane Casey Devine. Sister was predeceased by her brothers, and is survived by her sister, Loretta Turnbull, IL; nephews, Patrick Turnbull, Timothy Turnbull, Tom Turnbull, James Turnbull and Michael Turnbull, all of IL; and nieces, Lori Turnbull, TN, and Margaret Slavik, IL. Sister Margaret Lorraine trained to be a teacher and taught elementary grades for over 55 years. Most of her teaching was done in Illinois and Indiana. She was Assistant Principal and teacher at Queen of All Saints School, Michigan City, for nearly 30 years. Sister retired to Saint Mary's Convent in 2005 and was active in the ministry of prayer until her death.
