Skylar Gaige Schwartz, was born prematurely on Friday, April 22, 2011, living only nine hours, but touched the lives and left a footprint on the hearts of his family. Skylar is survived by his parents, Carl Schwartz and Tina Edmondson of Marquette; paternal grandmother, Karen Bashaw of Marquette; maternal grandparents, Lisa and Michael Akins of Gwinn, and Mark and Dawn Edmondson of Mt. Pleasant; uncle and Godfather, David Bashaw of Marquette; aunt and Godmother, Liz Tyrrell of Melbourne, FL. Private services were held in the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home with Rev. Benjamin Hasse officiating. Burial will take place in the Gwinn Cemetery.
