Sondra Kay Catterall

Sondra K. Catterall (nee Finn), 68 of Brunswick passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Medina General Hospital after battling a long illness. She was born April 12, 1941 in Bergholtz, Ohio to Michael and Olive (nee McConnell) Finn. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren, gardening, nature, and she was always taking care of others. She was a Nursing Assistant for many years at Pearlview Care Center. Sondra Kay is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Joseph Catterall; five daughters Tena (Dennis) Haynes, Connie (Tony) Monachino, Diana (Kevin) Camp, Cindy Catterall, and Jodine (Tom) Judson; 13 grandchildren Blake, Alex, Stevan, Amber, Casey, Branden, Shane, Michael, Ryan, Dominick, Joseph, Genevieve, and Elinor; great-granddaughter Adilei and expecting another little girl (?); granddaughter-in-law Leigh’ Ann; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law Joe and Alberta (nee Moore) Catterall; and six brothers and sisters. Private Family Services were held at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Celebration of Life Services will be held to remember Sondra Kay on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Bergholz Church of Christ in Bergholz, Ohio with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.
