Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Stanley Richard Wicks passed away April 5, 2011 after a long battle with COPD. Born November 22, 1934 in Denver Colorado he attended school at Colorado State University. He and his family moved to Salt Lake City in 1961, where he was a manufacturing engineer for 28 years at E-Systems. Retired in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Ann and children Cynthia Perrella, Ken (Shauna) Wicks and Ginger (Greg) Ries; grandchildren Nick (Rachel) Perrella, Chelsea Perrella, Hunter and Chandler Ries. Proceeded in death by granddaughter Carli Ann Wicks.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Kurt Francis and the office of Pulmonary Internal Medicine for their many years of care.

According to his wishes a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Lung Association would be appreciated.
