Stanley Roman Durek, 71, of Perrineville, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Centre State Hospital in Freehold. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Stanley was an avid farmer and a member of St. Joseph's RC Church. He loved the outdoors, and was very instrumental with the county with preserving the bird species. He also loved to read, hunt and fish. Predeceased by his father, Roman Durek, Stanley is survived by his mother, Sophie Durek; and his sister Karol Durek. The Funeral will begin 8:30am Monday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am at St. Joseph's RC Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone, NJ 08535. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
