Stella Juanita King, 100 plus, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to many of the 600 block of Piney Point Road, Virginia Beach, VA, went to be with our Lord and Jesus on Dec. 13, 2010. She was at home surrounded by the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Louis Dale King and will be remembered for her devotion to her family. She was born April 7, 1910 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma to the late Bertha and Enoch Atkison of Amarillo, Texas. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jacquelyn Dale King, of Virginia Beach, VA; three sons, Larry Don King and his wife, Mary from Jupiter, FL, Foy Merle King from Chase City, VA, Gary A. King and wife, Ruth Anne from Chesapeake, VA. She was blessed to have enjoyed 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She gave herself in many ways, one was volunteering for the Mental Health Services. She received many certificates of appreciation from Eastern State Hospital and only stopped volunteering when her health would not permit it. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 645 Woodlake Dr., Chesapeake, VA 23320. A memorial service will be held by Rev.
